♡ Comic Fiesta 2012 ♡

(This is such a late post of the event oTL)

Last year, I attended Comic Fiesta (once again). (●´∀｀●)
I had loads of fun walking around, splurging my wallet heart out and gawking at cosplayers~
For CF '12, I decided to try cosplaying once again. This time, I plan on doing it seriously. And I did.
I cosplayed as Kagamine Rin, Project Diva X'mas version.
Believe it or not but, my friend and I made our final decision about which character to cosplay as about 3 weeks before the event LOL. ヽ(;^o^ヽ)
But despite the non-literally hyperventilation from panicking about the costume not reaching in time, it arrived in time and everything worked out well at the end. (We even started cutting our wigs the night before event. OMFG. oTL) I've never panicked so much about such things before, ever. But it was fun (and tiring)!
For CF '13, I'm definitely gonna try deciding which character to cosplay as soon as possible, probably 2 - 3 months before the event. （／_＼）

Ahem. Anyways.
These are the badges that I got during the event!  (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡

A Trip to Malacca

My family and I went down to Malacca about 2-3 months ago.
That was such a long time ago.
We went there for an anime convention.

I didn't bother taking any pictures cause I was following my sister and her friend's cosplay group for a photo shoot.
It was really cool!
I'm glad I got the chance to see how a photo shoot goes, even if it's not a professional one.

Anyways
Before we headed back to our hometown, we went for a little shopping
I totally got lazy to take pictures of EVERYTHING we bought.

Though, we did stop by at a shop to try the famous chicken rice ball.

I forgot what was the shop called.
How lame can I get? LOL.

It was really satisfying!

We also stopped by a small shop to eat some shaved ice and ice-cream.
And this shop was amazing.

I just had to put three of those emoticons cause it's just too cute. LOL!

Some of it were really, really, really old!
I think it can be considered as antique.

Oh, when we were in the car, my sister took a picture of this.


It was really sweet and tasty.

Btw, that's my violin casing at the back there.
And that's my hand.

We really laughed hard in the car.
I cracked a lot of lame jokes and stories. LOL.

And that was my trip to Malacca.

Comic Fiesta, Day Two

Yay. This post about Day Two!

The event started with 4 dances which was... (I'll give my review too!)

1) 恋愛♥ライダー (Renai♥Rider) by Buono!
-- They just totally killed this dance. It was so messy! I don't like it, not one bit!

2) TELL ME by Wonder Girls
-- This dance was quite good. The timing and teamwork was average. And I could feel their energy.

3) Go My Way!! from IdolM@ster
-- Three girls dancing to this. They totally followed the original dance, it was good. Though when they start to move from the left to right side of the stage, it was terrible~

4) 都会っ子 純情 (Tokaikko Junjou) by C-ute
-- Same review as Renai Rider. Worse than horrible. This is one of my favourite songs and they just killed it! WTH!!

OVERALL -- 4.5/10

On the 2nd day, my parents bought the tickets to enter the convention. After awhile, the solo cosplay competition started. It was hilarious! xD There was a female cosplayer, the character's name was Sherly Nome. I'm not sure she's from what game, anime or manga but dayum... She was sizzling H.O.T.

After the competition ended, the judges was deciding~ So, we went to have our lunch. After our lunch, we went back to the convention hall! Then, I bought a Vampire Knight 2009 Calander.

I'll just skip whatever happened at the anime convention.
It's just too long & funneh~ xDD

Although~
There were lots of free gifts that they gave away.
Such as Comic Fiesta '08 shirts, original X-Rally game etc. etc.

Then, there were various performances.
I remember the first one was a performance from a group of Vampire Knight cosplayers~
They were my sister's friends.
Then, there were awesome singers. Non-professional, of course.

After all the performances, they announced who had won what-what-what.
My mum & I waited downstairs while my sis & dad stayed in the convention hall to buy something.

Before we returned home, my sister had to changed out of her costume.
My dad & I waited at our car while my mom (had to) follow my sis to the bathroom.
Btw, we had already checked out of the hotel at 11am.
