RIP Iwata Satoru

Today,
I woke up to the news of Iwata Satoru passing on.
I was devastated. I didn't know what or how to feel, initially.

Then, it started to sink it and I cried.
I grieved, until now. My mind can't seem to stop thinking about the lost of a legend.
He truly impacted a lot of people's lives.
The news came too quickly and unexpectedly.

Without Iwata Satoru's amazing creations, I would probably ended up being even more introverted than I already am.
I couldn't deal with socializing with others. It made me turn to my Nintendo DS (which was never given back to me by someone who I knew).
I loved all the games that were on the Nintendo platform.
It made me happy. I felt someone was accompanying me during those dark days.
All thanks to Iwata Satoru's inventions.

After I lost my Nintendo DS, I heard about the release of the Nintendo 3DS and then, the Nintendo 3DS XL.
I KNEW I had to have the Nintendo 3DS XL when it was released.
And I did own one, thanks to my Dad. (●♡∀♡))ヾ☆*。
I treasure my Kagami a lot. I always felt as though someone was accompanying me when I bring it out to play.
I felt as though, I was reliving my childhood days.

Nintendo is my #1 go-to console.
It will always and forever be my #1 console company to go to.
It allowed me to have a life goal. I would LOVE to make a game for Nintendo, one day (someday).
I truly appreciate and love everything that Iwata Satoru has done for the fanbase.
I admire the fact that he didn't fire anyone during the difficult times and also, he cut his salary by 50% to take responsibility.
He's truly an angel.
And I hope that he passed on painlessly.

RIP Iwata Satoru.
You will always be remembered.
Thank you for all the great memories you gave me. ♡

Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic GET!

It's been awhile since my previous post. (*ﾉωﾉ)
Anyways, this week, I finally took the initiative to get the 3DS game that I've been wanting for quite a long time. So, I ordered a copy from one of the sellers from the Lowyat Forum.



It's the Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic! (´ω｀★)
I really love the Cooking Mama series. I think it's a really addictive and simple game.
I've played the 1st, 2nd and 3rd game too. So, when I found out there's a 4th Cooking Mama game, I knew I just had to get it. And plus, the game trailer appealed to me. So, there, I got the game. LOL.

My Nintendo 3DS XL: Kagami

A few months ago, I mentioned that I wanted the Nintendo 3DS XL on a certain blog post.
Well, my wish came true~! （●´∀｀）ノ♡



My dad got it for me, along with the Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance game.
He kept pestering me to get a game with the console and so, I choose that game LOL.
Although, I was really tempted to get Pokemon games but I knew the shop was selling it at much higher price, compared to what I've seen on the Lowyat forum. So, Kingdom Hearts it is! (ﾉ´ｰ`)ﾉ

Oh, my new baby has been officially named as Kagami.
Kagami is named after one of the characters from Kuroko no Basuke, Kagami Taiga.



Initially, I wanted to name it Akashi (after Kuroko no Basuke's Akashi Seijuro).
But my sister suggested Kagami and it fitted so, Kagami it is! (´ω｀★)
Plus, I really love Kagami so, why not? Kagami's name fitted the new baby so perfectly.

So far, I'm really loving Kagami. I was right to get the 3DS XL, instead of the 3DS.
Although, I'm not really touching the console much cause I still wanna get a pouch and screen protector for it.
I know I'll mess up the screen like no tomorrow so, I'm holding myself back until I get a screen protector!

Recently, I decided to get a new flash cart for Kagami as my old flash carts aren't compatible with the 3DS XL. So, I might as well get a new one. I already made payment for it. So, I'm hoping it'll arrive this week or next week~ Gahhh, really excited for it! I hope it doesn't randomly freezes though. (´ ▽｀)

Wanted: Nintendo 3DS XL

A couple of weeks ago, I heard there was a release of an XL version of the Nintendo 3DS.
I dug up some info about it and ohboyyyy, it was love at first sight with this new baby~ （*´▽｀*）



I was researching about its pros and cons, watching box opening and review videos, watching some 3DS game trailers and gameplay and, briefly, I looked at the 3DS XL's accessories and cover designs.
I was already planning what to get for it, even though I don't even own the physical console yet!
I was definitely obsessed and is still obsessed about this beautiful baby. (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ

Previously, I had the Nintendo 3DS on my wishlist but when I saw the 3DS XL being released, I immediately kick the 3DS off my wishlist. ヾ(´▽｀;)ゝ
I'm super duper in-love with the 3DS XL matte look, instead of the 3DS's glossy look.
And when I read that the 3DS XL has a slightly longer battery life, I just knew I had to get this new console.
I plan on getting a red one. I'm not too happy with the shade of that blue. So, red, it is!
I wonder what I should name it.

Oh, and I think it's time to let my Kevin Nintendo DS Lite to retire.
It has served me well over the years. ☆ ☆
It comforted me during those lonely days when I had no friends in college, drowned my boredom, relieved my stress, and most importantly, it was always there for me. Waiting for me. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
And this is one of the reasons why I love portable consoles so much, especially Nintendo-made consoles!
