Orpheus's New Look (Version 2.0)

Before I started my degree, I had one of my last photoshoots with Orpheus. (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ
I finally got around editing the photos. I was still procrastinating until I had to edit the new ones, in order to show him off during a class presentation. LOL. ★

So far, I've only uploaded one out of the kabajillion photos I took on that day.



I'll be uploading more on my deviantArt once I have enough time to filter and edit the photos.

Aside from that, this is Orpheus's current newer look.
I finally got him a shorter wig. It was too much of a hassle to take care of his longer wigs.
I love the fact that I can just pop this shorter wig on him and mess with it a little bit and ta-da, I'm done. Ahah~ It feels overly convenient~ ヽ(´ー`)ﾉ
And plus, it shows off his charm point 3rd eye. ♡

I'm (most probably) gonna stick with this look for a very long time.
The wig makes his features more prominent - which is awesome. （*´▽｀*）
However, he still looks like a girl - according to almost everyone else out there. LOL.
But meh, oh well. He's my doll and the only opinion that truly matters is my own. ✿

Celebrating My 19th Birthday

On the 3rd of December, I celebrated my 19th birthday. （*´▽｀*）

My family and I did the usual dinner outing and cake cutting.

But this year, it's a bit more special cause this is the first year that Orpheus celebrates with me. ♡

My photography skills still sucks. And it sucks that I'm procrastinating to practice too. *getshot*

Ahem.

Anyways, I'm looking forward for the more years that is about to come, to celebrate special occasions with him. I wonder what I should do for his birthday. oTL
But even though it's not a special occasion, I still love having him by my side.
He's a joy to have around. I definitely made the right decision by getting him as my first BJD. (︶▽︶)

PS: If you counted the candles, there are only 8. That's because my sister was holding one of the candles. LOL.

Orpheus: A New Look

Recently, I changed the appearance of Orpheus. （ﾉ´∀`）
He no longer has blonde hair or black eyes.
Now, he has silver-ish grey hair and red eyes. I've been wanting to try red eyes on him and finally picked out a pair and got them!
Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out what colour I want his third eye to be. I can't decide on one yet and I don't think I have the budget to get another pair of eyes.
Wahhhh, I'm sorry for being broke, Orpheus. (ノД`)・゜・。

But aside from being broke, here's a picture of the current him.

50 Days of Being with Orpheus

Today would be the 50th day I have spent my time with Orpheus.
Initially, I planned on doing a photoshoot session but I decided to ditch that plan. ┗┃・ ■ ・┃┛
But anyways, I can have a special photoshoot session when the 100th day comes by. LOL.

Aside from that, I know I haven't been able to spend much time with him.
But he has been sitting by my side - literally - all these time.
I really enjoy his company! He's seriously a piece of artwork. (●♡∀♡)
And, ah, I think his personality/character/profile is starting to build up but that depends on the stuff I buy for him. I have already placed an order for new eyes and wigs (through Group Orders).
I can't wait for the stuff to arrive~! (☆^ー^☆)
But it's gonna be a long wait lol. All of his stuff will probably arrive around July or August. *sighs*
Oh well, it's all for the sake of saving up more money. Gah, even local shipping is not that cheap anymore. XD

Just A Filler Post

Yo, people!
If you are gonna read this until the end then, a pre-congratulations to you who has wasted your time reading my crappy blog post.
Next week will be the start of my final exams, for this semester.
And the week after that, it'll be the start of my semester break. Woohoo!! (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ

So, instead of wasting my time studying, I decided to write down a list of stuff that I plan on doing during my sem break.

☆ Watch the not-yet-watched Hello! Project concerts that's currently sitting in my laptop...

☆ Brush up on my non-existent programming skills (¬､¬)
★ Try to work on my stories, especially my fanfics~

Um, I think that's all! I can't wait until my final exam finishes. I can almost taste freedom!! （＾～＾）

Today is the 1st of March and finally, a new month!
Actually, I'm not that excited about it - honestly. It just means, more assignments and finals to study for.
Depressing stuff aside...

Today, when I was randomly going through Den of Angel's News section, I saw a particular thread that caught my eye. It was called "New SID 'Eric' from Iplehouse".
And me, being a fan of Iplehouse's super gorgeous dolls, I (of course) checked it out!
What I saw blew me away, not literally. I couldn't help but gawk and stare at awe and happiness!!

This "New SID Eric" strongly resembled Elemental Guardian's SID Claude, which is a Limited Edition doll!
I've always wanted a SID Claude but it was just a bad timing. I would've gotten a SID Claude instead of Orpheus, to be honest. But I had already placed an order on Orpheus and the news of re-releasing SID Claude was announced a few weeks later, AFTER I placed an order on Orpheus. ＿|￣|○

So, seeing this news - of SID Eric being released, made my day!
I read the news in class. I almost teared up when I read the news! ( ･_･)
I'm definitely gonna get him one day! I think he'll be my second doll. Ahah~
But he's so expensive zomfg!! （；_・）Oh well, I'll still save-up and get him one day~! XD

Once In Four Years

Yo, people!
This is kind of late but Happy Leap Year! Woots! (^o^)/
Since today's a special day, I wanted to do something special aka, do a photoshoot with Orpheus. Ahah!
Also, I wanted to show the gentler side of Orpheus~ ☆

Honestly, I know he looks angry in most of the pictures cause it's on purpose LOL!
But since it's a special occasion, I wanted to tone down his sexy-beast-look to a gentle-beast-look wtf.

Welcome Home, Orpheus (Dollmore's Dollpire Victor Lou 3-eyes)

Osu to everyone who's reading this!
If you've been following my blog, I have blogged about wanting a Dollmore Dollpire Victor Lou 3-eyes for quite sometime already. And I wanted him, as my very first BJD. And it's a dream come true to finally own him!
ヾ(*⌒∇⌒)八(⌒∇⌒*)ツ

On the 8th of February (or was it the 9th?), I received a customs notice from the delivery man.
I had to go pick up my dear Orpheus from the customs office and I knew, I was gonna get taxed.
However, I'm not free during to weekdays so I had to wait until Saturday (which is on the 11th of February) to pick him up and get over with the customs taxing thing. I just want him, in my arms so badly! （；_・）
I know, waiting for 2 months is not a torture compared to other longer waiting times but it's seriously killing me - to know that he's here and I can bring him home and yet, I can't because there's a wall between us. Ugh.

Unfortunately, this post is not really a box opening post cause I had to open his box and open up his mummified body at the customs office. They wanted to inspect him and whatnot.
Once they're done with all the paperwork and I paid the freaking wallet heart aching tax, I FINALLY got to bring him home! *throws confetti*

Like I said before, this isn't really a box opening post but let's pretend I've never opened his box before, 'kay? XD
So, without further ado, I present to you, Orpheus's fake box opening ceremony!

Clothes, Wigs and Eyes?

Oh gawd, my blog posts' titles gets weirder and weirder everytime. (_　_|||)

Today ☆彡
I was surfing for doll stuff as usual (and stalking the DoA forum 8D).
I found out that Dollzone's clothes, wigs and shoes has a high possibility of fitting DoD's DoC dolls!
I tried comparing the measurements and it seem quite similar to each other. (●⌒∇⌒●)

And so, I started ogling gawking searching for clothes that might suit her. XD
I did found a feeewww. *coughs* LOL.



This would be one of 'em.
It's so cute! ＼((=ﾟ▽ﾟ)／
I could die squealing at the dress instead of the doll. Haha!!
I wonder if it really comes with that violin slinging on her shoulder... I hope it does~

Oh yeah, one more thing.
I'm glad this outfit does not include that weird bunny mask.
You can see it clearly on the outfit's page. It's so weird + a little creepy.



I was trying to decide which one should I get, unsuccessfully. ＿|￣|○
I don't know which one will suit her more so I thought I should just get both? LOL.
I think the left one will suit her more because of the colour.
But then again, the right one is also really nice and it might suit her if I bought the right wig...



I think this was the latest outfit that was added? I think. (I could be wrong!)
This outfit made me think of her (the Twing-key doll) as an Ice Queen Princess. LOL! （　´∀｀）
She'll be my little Ice Queen Princess. ♥



This is another must-get outfit. (´･ω･｀)
It'll suit her nicely. It's really cute~
And she can go barefoot with this outfit haha!!

That's all that I found and liked.
After looking through the clothes' section, I went through the wig section. ♪
There were a few that I liked too. (I think I'm too easy to be pleased? XD;)

Although there is a tiny problem between DollZone wigs with DoD's DoC's head.
DollZone 1/4 dolls' wigs are suited for 18.5cm to 19cm doll heads while DoC's are only 18cm.
I think that 0.5cm will make a huge difference because this is (after all) a small doll.
I'm still asking around the DoA forum. I'm crossing my fingers for a positive answer! (;´ρ`)

And if it's a green-light answer, I would love to own a few of these wigs~



I just love those big curls.
It add the lolita feel around her even more! ☆



This gotta be one of the coolest wig I've ever seen.
A nice colour combo too. It kinda reminds me of that anime, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
I'm hesitating on this, though. （．＿．）

Though, the bangs are kinda weird. But I think I'll be able to solve it with some combing, if I bought it.
This wig reminds me Fate-chan from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. *shot*



This is a might-kinda-get. XD!
I'm hesitating on it due to maintainence issue LOL. I don't know if I'll be able to take care of the wig properly.
Hopefully I'll suck it up and buy it~ *coughs*

And then (XD), I suddenly got the urge to look at the eyes. ('-'*)
And so I did haha.

These two eyes look really pretty and it's something that I had in mind too. ♥



The left one, if you look at it closely, it's really interesting.
Idk why but these kind of blue eyes usually fit the lolita image. (･_･ )

The right one fits the character I had in mind for her.
Usually, I notice that yellow eyes are does not really fit the image of a 'cute girl'.
Most of it looks a little intimidating. XD!
So, I might get the right one~ |･ω･｀)

My lists of stuff in increasing again. LOL!
I think when I really get my first BJD, I'll be spending more money on them XD her than myself.
I barely spend any money on myself. I usually spend my money by buying cheap keychains or a book/manga (this happens once in a very blue moon LOL).
When I really really really get into this hobby, my bank balance is gonna cry so hard. (≧∇≦)ノ

Just Another Dream?

Once again, another pun intended to the title of my post. ↑↑

I have discovered another pile of gold - not literally though.
I went through Dream of Doll once again.
I was not impressed by their works the first time I visited their website honestly.
Though when I went to check it out for the second time, a particular doll really caught my eye.

It was the Dream of Child (DoC)'s Twing-key that stole my heart.
She was the prettiest and cutest thing I have ever laid my eyes on.



Usually I paid no attention to smaller dolls (the 40cm range ones) but THIS one just caught my full attention.
I knew deep down in me that she was "the one" for me.
(Hopefully this won't change in a few days though LOL. I'm a very fickle/indecisive person - VERY)

From what I read on the DoA forum, this hobby requires loads of gut feelings and money?.
It's like someone just click right away with another. It's something like that. （．＿．）



I can just feel that she'll be my first.

Actually, I was planning on getting a male doll as my first BJD and I thought I would stick strictly to that.
But after looking at her, screw my plans. I've already thrown all those plans out of the window. 8D!
I don't even feel tempted to buy Ringdoll's and Iplehouse's dolls anymore.

I just want her as my first ever BJD. *sighs in bliss*
She's a whole lot cheaper, if compared to the other dolls that I want.
She costs less than RM1000, believe or not? Heh. (ﾉ*ﾟｰﾟ)
That's half the price of Iplehouse's EID Chase! (He was on the top of my list before I discovered her ♥)

After gawking at her, I decided to look at what kind of clothes does DoD have in store for DoC dolls.
I was blown away with the choices. （●｀・ω・´●）
I found two outfits that I'll be buying for her when I save up enough money for her!



This maid outfit is a MUST. (@°▽°@)ノ
I've always wanted to dress up a doll in a super-extra-cute maid outift. This gotta be fate.



I find this outfit really cool and interesting.
I think it'll suit her nicely too! ☆☆

There was one bad news though... there are no shoes wth.
All of DoC doll shoes are SOLD OUT. How the hell does ALL the shoes get sold out?!
Luckily I'm not getting her yet, or else she'll be walking around the house barefooted! Ugh. （；_・）

Aside from that, I've kinda decided on her name already LOL!
I plan on naming her Karin or Chitorin, based on my story's character's name(s).
I think the name Karin will give her a nice ring to her personality.
I've always wanted to name something Karin anyways. XD;

And time to calculate how much she'll cost, without the shipping and possibly customs.
I'll be using the currency converter to convert the USD to MYR (RM).

Twing-key: $283 (RM870) + $26 (RM80) for the new body system
Maid Outfit: $59 (RM180)
Goth-punk Outfit: $57 (RM174)
Wig: $25 (RM76 for one, RM152 if I buy two)
Eyes: $12 (RM37 for a pair, RM74 if I buy two pairs instead)
Tools (String 1M, Head Cap, S-hooks): $2 (RM6) + $1.50 (RM5) + $1 (RM3 for one, RM6 for two)

All together is about RM1547, rounding it up to RM1550.
This is excluding the shipping costs which is most probably about RM100+.
But I'm negotiating with my mom to see if she can bare the shipping costs instead LOL.
After RM1550, I still need to buy some stuff locally such as the Magic Eraser and etc.
Finalizing, I need about RM1700 - at least. ＿|￣|○

So far, I have collected at least RM200.
So, I have RM1500 left to collect. （￣へ￣）
Well, at least it's better than saving up RM2500+. XD!

Phew. The calculations made my brain spin. LOL!
Anyways. I think I can do it - might take about a year though.
I hope she'll still be there (and I hope they'll re-stock or make new shoes for the DoC dollies). ♥ ♥

Ring Me!

Pun intended to the title of this post. m(_ _)m

Lately, I find myself liking the dolls from Ringdoll more and more.
Despite their problem with trying to keep up with their orders and not answering their e-mails, I think their dolls in the pictures are simply amazing.
I read a few reviews saying that their dolls are amazing in real life too, despite the long arrival delay.
Either way, I don't plan on getting one too soon cause I want the Iplehouse dolls as my first.
But I have decided which dolls from Ringdoll I plan on getting! (*≧▽≦)

I want the Grown dolls, which are (so far) Sol and Kay.
And I want the Teenager doll, Wagashi (Style B).

Between the three, Idk which one I'll be purchasing first.
I really like Sol but I want Wagashi so that I get to play with her more (I already have a basic idea on how I'll be customizing her).

He's a really hawt doll, don't you think so too? *shot*
I think I could make him like a mature version of Ciel (of Kuroshitsuji). Ahaha~ *shot again*
But I definitely will not get him in that colour! （￣へ￣）

I really like his presence. He has a cool aura around him. ♪
Although I'm not head over heals for him as I am for Sol and Wagashi.
He'll (probably) be the last Ringdoll out of the bunch I'll buy.

She's one of those dolls that truly capture my heart in a heartbeat.
She's definitely a doll that I want to own!
Just like Iplehouse's SID Cherie, she'll fit nicely into my cosplay plans too.
I think I'll make her cosplay as Kagamine Rin as her cosplay debut career.
There's a reason why I choose her mold. （・ｗ・）

Aside from her cosplay career, I'll definitely dress her up in all sorts of clothes. XD
Especially those maid outfits and sweet lolita outfits. Ahah~ d(-_^)
I can already picture it in my mind! (I sound like a pervert or something... LOL.)

Aside from Ringdoll dolls, their clothes are also amazing as well.
(Duh, just by looking at those dollie pictures!)

These are the few clothes I'll definitely buy for them, when and if I own 'em!
I read that it's a little hard to find clothes for Ringdoll's dolls due to their body structure; which is slim and long.

The outfit on the left is just pure awesome.
Though I still can't figure out if that is a skirt or not...
You know, Jrockers (or Visual Kei bands) tend to wear that - I think.
So, I'm not entirely sure if it's for a male or female doll. (LOL)

The one on the right is really cool too.
I think it'll fit Wagashi's mold nicely, I think! （．＿．）
The shoes are REEALLY cool too! Heh.



These two outfits (the above one) is a must-have item!
They're just stunning. Details are really amazing too. ♥ ♥

It'll be really interesting to see if Sol suits the outfit on the left.
I wonder if it comes with that katana! Teehee. ( ^_^)／

The outfit on the right is using Wagashi's mold.
So I definitely know it'll suit her perfectly. Though, Idk if it'll suit her with the wig that I plan on getting for her~



I'm not entirely sure if I'll be buying these two outfits. ＼（－－）／
They are cool though but Idk. Maybe if I have any leftover money, I'll buy it. ☆

The one on the left is kinda cool yet quirky (is that the correct term? *shrugs*).
It sort of reminds me of Ciel (of Kuroshitsuji) again.

The one on the right is a really pretty outfit.
There was another one with another design but I prefer this one. d(´▽｀)b
Cause it'll give my soon-to-be Wagashi mold a softer feeling.
And besides, I can give it to her so that it could be worn during the New Years (not that I celebrate it Japanese-style but still! 8D).

I hope I'll be able to have enough money to support all these dolls that I plan to buy.
I must not only think about the dolls but they stuff I'll be needing when they chip or break or need restringing! I prefer to get a little more professional tools.
I wanna be able to take care of my BJDs properly cause they aren't cheap.

PS: My mom found me a possibly part-time job! I'm really excited about it. I hope I'll get it! (人´∀｀)

A Change of Heart ♥

Lately（´・ω・｀）
All I've been obsessed about is the Ball-jointed Dolls (aka BJD). ♡
(Google 'em if you don't know what are they exactly, please)

Most of my time are spent by surfing the Den of Angels forum and looking at BJDs (specifically Iplehouse's BJDs).
I used to stalk people and apps on Facebook, repeat YouTube videos over and over again, lurk around Hello! Online and etc! But now, my life have (officially) been taken over by these awesome dolls, not that I'm complaining though. LOL!

After learning more about them, I plan on getting one.
I know this will be a serious decision cause these things are NOT cheap at all.
Their prices could range as low as RM1500 to more than RM10,000.
(Yes, those are FIVE-digit numbers you are seeing.（＾＿－）☆)

I'm not entirely sure which one I plan on getting as a FIRST.
It's either one of the below. (Which I'm -most probably- gonna fangirl and annoy the heck out of everyone)

He is a SID Storm (Basic) from Iplehouse.
Isn't he just wonderful?

Then I discovered the EID Chase (Basic) from the same company too.



I debated like crazy in my mind! (＞。≪)
Though the battle was easily won by EID Chase after I saw their head mold, without the face-ups.
I really love EID Chase's eye shape, nose and those really sexy lips which almost seems like a smirk to me. Or maybe I'm just being a little cuckoo? LOL.
Though, I haven't decide which body I'll be picking yet.
But I'm pretty sure I know I'll be picking the one with more abs. LMAO.

There's a few more than I plan on buying. (Yup, there's more!)

I also want EID Arvid. Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ



I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T STOP STARING AT THOSE JAWLINE AND THE NOSE. ☆☆

I'll probably get him the same wig as in the picture if it's still being sold haha.
And I'll get him the grey suit and some casual clothes! \m/
I plan on naming him Lucien. *obsessed*

Actually, I've already started planning on what I'll name the other dolls.
I can't seem to find a nice name for EID Chase unfortunately.
It just seems like all the names that I find are not cool enough for him! Ugh.
But after narrowing down all my choices, I'm stuck with Sebastian, Ren, Maximus and Loki.
Then again, I'll probably not choose any of those names either. LOL!

Anyways~
Even though it seems like all I want is male dolls, I want some female dolls too!
I'll get too lonely with all the guys, I need some real girl time too. XD



She's a SID Cherie.

I plan to dump my cosplay plans on her. Let her do what I'm suppose to do. (￣▽￣)ノ
She's the perfect mold for my crazy plans.
Though I wished she was a little more anime-like but somehow, I don't really mind that much anymore.
I plan on getting small boobs for her. (LOL)
And she's cheaper than the other guys so she's definitely on my wishlist.

As for her name, I was thinking of naming her Madoka.
As in, like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica's Madoka! ♥
I love Madoka-chan! She's one of the greatest mahou shoujo I've ever seen.
I really admire her. ♥ ♥ *obsessed mode again*
Someone should slap me.

Although I don't think I'll name her Madoka...
I want all my dolls to feel special and not some sort of slave (although, they technically are). ＿|￣|○

I've already started to save-up for EID Chase, btw.
I'm throwing ALL of my cosplay plans and figurine/figma that I plan on getting (unless they're below RM150, that - I'll ask my mom to buy for me HAH!) away.
I don't plan on buying ANY CDs and DVDs or any of that sort.
In other words, I'm practically dropping most of what I want for the sake of these dolls which I don't mind AT ALL. ♪

I know it will be worth the money when I get my own BJD with my own money.
I'm currently scouting for part-time jobs too. I'm that desperate!
I really want a BJD (actually, I want a LOT of BJDs!!).

This time, my mom will not be contributing financially for this upcoming hobby of mine.
It is too expensive for her to handle. And I prefer if I worked and got the doll myself rather than her getting it for me.
That way, she has no way of threatening the lives of my dolls at all.
Although she has can threatened me by disallowing me to use her credit card (with me paying her back, of course). XD!
BUT STILL! *getting off-topic*

I can't stop talking about BJDs. Period. XD
