Arihara Kanna LEAVING

I was devasted when I heard Arihara Kanna LEAVING C-ute & Hello! Project.
I don't know if I should be happy or not after hearing this news...
I wanna be happy cause it's HER decision.
I'm not happy cause she's one of my favourite members.



Here's the official (translated) statement.

We would like to announce that Arihara Kanna is leaving °C-ute and Hello!Project as of 09.07.2009. Arihara worked hard after she joined Hello!Project in the 2004 audition, joined °C-ute in 2006, and as their member, she had a major debut the year after.

As you know, she stopped appearing on the stage since February this year, due to the bunion, and now she has decided to leave °C-ute and Hello!Project and return back to the life of a normal girl.

We are very sorry to bring such unexpected news, but we hope you will keep supporting °C-ute in the future.

I wonder what happened?
Is it really because of her "scandal"?
People under the contract of Up Front Agency are FORBIDDED from a relationship.

Anyways, I hope she leads a better and normal life now.

Ahh... Hello! Project has been releasing LOTS of singles lately.
It's a little tough to catch up too. xD So many PBs and singles....!!
Anyways...

C-ute's latest album AND single is gonna come out soon.
I'm a little worried that Arihara Kanna won't be able to participate in ANY of these due to her foot injury. STUPID BUNION! WHY KANNA-CHAN?!?!

Arihara Kanna Suffers From Bunion

°C-ute member Kanna Arihara will be absent from Hello! Project activities for a while due to medical difficulties.

Kanna has been diagnosed with hallux valgus, better known as Bunion. A bunion is a structural deformity of the bones and the joint between the foot and big toe, and may be painful. She had been suffering from bunion before and unfortunately the condition has deteriorated. Therefore she will need medical treatment, which may be surgery.

The condition caused difficulties while performing on stage and Kanna will not be able to attend the HaroTen Fanclub event scheduled this week. It is likely that she will also be absent throughout °C-ute’s upcoming concert tour and from activities for their 8th single, “Bye Bye Bye!”, which will be released on 2009-04-15.

°C-ute will continue performing with only 6 members.

I've been accepted by a new groupdub called Kawaii Love~!! Yayness!! ^o^
Kawaii Love is run by Hello! Project International (dubbing group).
AND Kawaii Love is covering °C-ute songs! xDD

Honestly, I did NOT know which member to cover for so I asked the people in-charge to pick for me. They gave me Arihara Kanna, Nakajima Saki or Murakami Megumi - they were the 3 members left, anyways. xDD

So, I picked Arihara Kanna. Why?
Nakajima Saki's voice is too cute for me & I don't wanna kill it!! ^^
Murakami Megumi's voice is like WOAH! She can do really, really awesome high-pitches which I suck at. So, Kanna-chan was the one for me. ^^
I think I picked the right choice~ Even if she lacked of lines, but it's ok. :]

PS: I know I have a lot of groupdubs! But it's still not enough for me. xDD
